| June 7: Is it possible to get home safely after drinking alcohol and to wake up with your own car parked on your driveway? Could this service be available for absolutely no cost to the person being driven home? The most recent recipient of our signature Platinum Key of Life Award makes this possible 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Throughout the Los Angeles area, Scooterpatrol makes this possible. |
 |
Anthony Panzica II, the President of Scooterpatrol, has invigorated a base of volunteers who each work to make sure that people have a safe and completely convenient method for protecting the safety of themselves, their friends, and their fellow community members by choosing not to drive drunk. In addition many restaurants, bars and taverns now will call Scooterpatrol on behalf of patrons who might otherwise make the decision to drive drunk. It would be a fair assessment that there is no group of volunteers doing more to fight drunk driving on a daily basis than Scooterpatrol. We wish them continued success as they grow and hope that someday the service they provide will be available wherever people live and drive. Scooterpatrol celebrates its 2nd anniversary this May and we are proud to feature them on the DFDD website. |
